Amber Muller Designs — Sculptural lamps for interiors
Amber Muller sculpts with light and form, exploring how light moves through material.
Her practice began with a fragment of a glass chandelier. Captivated by the way light shifted as it passed through the material, Muller began exploring the relationship between light, shadow, and dimensional pattern, and how these elements can transform perception.
At the center of her work is a curiosity about materials and the stories they carry. She is drawn to what is often seen as heavy, rigid, or utilitarian, revealing a softer and more unexpected side. A recent series reimagined chandelier fragments; her current work turns to chainmail, asking whether historic armor can express delicacy, lightness, and fluidity.
